Out of the starting blocks to officially recognize Human Rights Day in South Africa this month, it is going a notch up in history, by announcing its official endorsement as the official airline partner for the international gay extravaganza week. The event runs from 27 April to 3 May 2015 in Cape Town and Knysna.

SKYWISE RECOGNISES HUMAN RIGHTS DAY WITH SPECIAL FARES

Skywise Airline has scored a first in South Africa, by becoming the only airline to officially recognize Human Rights Day.
The country’s newest low-cost carrier is currently offering an affordable and no-hidden cost fare of R499 for passengers flying this Saturday, between Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Skywise is making history by identifying with human rights; an issue that symbolizes true democracy in a constitutionally bound South Africa.
“We have activated the Human Rights day special to celebrate human rights this Saturday. We are selling out the entire flight (both ways) on the R499 special as a tribute to Human Rights day”, says Skywise Co-Chairpersons, Tabassum A. Qadir (Ms.) and J. Malik (Mr.).

SKYWISE AIRLINE COMMENCES SCHEDULED DAILY FLIGHTS

Skywise Airlines commenced its scheduled daily flights between Johannesburg and Cape Town on 5 March 2015. The airline is the latest locally based low-cost-carrier in South Africa.
Skywise’s entrance on to the domestic travel market, follows its launch on 11 February with a commercial flight, carrying the successful Matric Class of 2014 from Khamane High School as well as children from the Thembekile Mandela Foundation.
We are confident to state that the previous months’ painstaking efforts, have now born their first fruits, and together with all South Africans, we can now start to enjoy a new flying experience.
Skywise expects to satisfy both corporate and vacation passengers, as well as South Africans who generally prefer to travel by car.

SKYWISE AIRLINE SUPPORTS SOWETO SOCCER TEAM

Skywise Airline, a new, low-cost carrier, has assisted Soweto based Dobsonville Mambas Football Club, with an 80% discount on air fares from Johannesburg to Cape Town.
This enabled the ekasi youth soccer club popularly known as “Izinyoka”, to travel for the Xolani Sithole Soccer Tournament, staged on the weekend of 8 and 9 March in Khayelitsha Township, Western Cape.
The assistance was given on 5 March 2015, the day of Skywise’s commencement of non-stop, daily scheduled flights.
This is the second time this year that Skywise has helped disadvantaged communities. In its maiden flight on 11 February, the airline carried the successful Matric Class of 2014 from Khamane High School who were accompanied by children from the Thembekile Mandela Foundation.
